Private label rights (PLR) is the term used to define content that is created by someone else and licensed to you to use on your sites, in your products, and more. I first found out about PLR in 2007, after being online for about a year and a half. I purchased some reports on a variety of topics. They were extremely well-written, so I only edited them slightly. Then I began giving them away to my list and selling some of the more niched topics on stand-alone sites. This was a way for me to increase my product inventory very quickly.
PLR is also a great way to learn more about a variety of topics. When I needed to learn more about Google’s Adwords program, I purchased a private label rights report on the topic and read every word of it several times. Then I applied what I had learned to my own business. Finally, I started selling that report online.
The purpose of this site is to teach you more about the value of PLR and to give you my recommendations on where to find the best content available to increase your knowledge and your income.
